My beautiful baby sister Em💔.

It’s so incredibly hard to find the words to sum up the 40 years of having you in my life.

You were kind, funny, loving, organised and brought the most amazing joy into our lives.

I will miss you for the rest of my life, and will treasure every memory I have with you - and there were some bloody good ones. Being there when Cam, Ollie and Sophia were born, being maid of honour at your wedding to Dave, you being my maid of honour, the countless nights out and nights in we had, New Year’s Eve at mine, the list goes on.

You’re at peace now Em, and in time we will find solace in that, but for now, love you until we meet again🪽❤️🪽

Mum. My life will never, ever be the same without you in it. You will never know how much you meant to me. You truly shaped me into the person I am today, inside and out, and I am eternally grateful.

Although my heart aches having to write a tribute for you through teary eyes, I know that everything you taught me over the last 17 years will always stay with me and help me carry on.

I will cherish all the big things we got to experience together — birthdays, Christmases, and special events like your wedding day. Even walking you down the aisle was the biggest honour of my life.

But I will always cherish the small things too. All the times we would go up the street just because. All the Costa trips we had, where you would get a skinny flat white and I would try a new drink every time, because being ruthless was something you always told me to be. All the game nights where we would laugh all night long, no matter the pain or suffering you were experiencing. Every Tesco trip where we would always buy more than we needed, and every single song we used to sing together in the car, I will cherish it all forever.

I will always cherish the 17 beautiful years I had with you, even though I know life will never feel the same again. No matter the circumstances, in any lifetime, I would choose you as my mum, and I am so thankful that I got to be your son.

Although there will be big and small milestones in my life that you will miss, like my wedding day or me passing my driving test, your constant love for me will always be with me during those moments, and I will always know that you were proud of me no matter what.

Your warmth and love towards everyone was so infectious. The way you always found good in every situation, and the way you fought for kindness because you always wanted to spread love, not hate.

I will always try to see life the way you did, because you saw every day as a gift, not a privilege.

Anti Emms, life will never be the same without you. I’m so grateful I got to call you my auntie — my crazy auntie. Thank you for all the love, laughs, and memories. You were the kindest, most caring person, and I’ll carry you in my heart forever. I’ll miss you dearly.
