Dr Peter JohnRICHARDSONDied on 22nd January 2025 after a short stay in Fairfield Hospital, aged 90 years.

Loving husband of Barbara, Father of John and Lewis, Father-In-Law of Lisa and Ellen, and Grandfather of Thomas. Peter will be missed by his family and friends.

A private family Cremation will take place, followed by a Celebration of Peter’s life, to be held at Norden Methodist Church at 2:00pm on Friday 14th February 2025. The family asks that people do not wear black
Family flowers only please – any donations to Springhill Hospice.

Peter was a truly lovely man. I have vivid memories of him energetically building sets at Phoenix Opera Society, solving problems, and meeting every issue with a cheerful smile. He was an old friend of my father, working with him, and, very, very occasionally, sharing a pint at the Grapes or Burns Tavern. Peter is part of my childhood memories, and I know how much he will be missed by family and friends.
