It is with much sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of Barrie after a very long illness. At the age of 80, he departed on Saturday 20th September at home in Clydach, surrounded by his loving family.
Devoted husband of Sonia, beloved father of Helen, cherished father-in-law of Ian, and proud, loving Dadcu of Llew and Bryn, also adored by Beth.
Caring brother of Gary, Gerald and Gaynor, well respected brother-in-law of Wendy, Jen, Gloria and the late Pete and Ken. A dear uncle and great uncle, much loved by his many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
For those wishing to pay their respects, the funeral service will take place on Saturday 11th October 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Capel Y Nant, Clydach, followed by burial at Coedgwilym Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.
A celebration of Barrie's life will take place at Clydach Cricket Club following the interment.
