ThomasREIDIt is with great sadness the family of the Late Thomas Reid 'Tom' have asked us to announce his passing
Sunrise 21st June 1943 Sunset 25th January 2026 Aged 82.
Tom was a devoted family man and a much-loved dad, grandad to ten grandchildren, and proud great-grandad to one.
He worked away for many years as a roofer, never afraid of hard work. Tom loved country and western music and was known for dancing with his hands on his hips. Tom met his late partner Sue at the Western Approaches and they shared 34 years together. Opposites in every way, Tom was regimental and black and white in his thinking, yet he had a heart of gold.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Reunited with his late son Daniel, and his beloved partner Sue.
Tom's final farewell journey will take place Tuesday 17th February 2026 for 1pm at St Teresa's Church, Sedgmoor Road, L11 3BW. Followed by an Interment for 2:30pm at Anfield Cemetery, 238 Priory Road, L4 2SL
Tom is resting currently at Butterflies Rising Funeral Care, 37-39 Mill Lane, West Derby, Liverpool, L12 7HY.
