Yvette JeanREIDIt is with great sadness that Erika and Mark announce the passing of their beloved Mother, Yvette Jean Reid, nee Peters. In the early hours of November 2nd 2025 She was a devoted wife to Henry for many years and loving Big Nan to Jack and a much loved Aunt to Pat, John, Marilyn and Suzanna. She worked for many years as a shop floor supervisor at the GEC and Courtaulds, where she made many life long friends. She was a much admired, well travelled and very elegant lady and will be missed by many and will remain forever in our hearts. The funeral will take place on Tuesday December 30th, at Canley Crematorium in the Cannon Hill Chapel at midday, followed by a wake at The Old Crown, Lentons Lane, Aldermans Green, Coventry CV2 1NP, at 1pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to be made to Age UK. in memory of Yvette can be made via J E Hackett and Sons website (make a donation) or by post to J.E.Hackett and Sons Ltd Longford Bridge, Coventry, CV6 6BH. Yvette was a good friend of my late mother Brenda. They both went on trips and outings organised by Jephson Court. They also enjoyed going to the Tuesday Club.
