IreneREESPeacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, March 29th, Irene of Killay, Swansea, sadly passed away.

Much loved Wife of the late Jeff, cherished and devoted Mam of Jarrod and Francesca, respected Mother-in-law of Jonny and Della, and a proud and loving Nana of Aeddan and Finley. Devoted Sister of the late John Strannigan, much loved Sister-in-law of Viv (Wens) and Ann, and a proud Auntie of Jason, Sarah-Jayne, Mark and Rachel.

Irene will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends.

Funeral service to be held at Llanelli Crematorium on Saturday 18th April at 11:00am, followed by a celebration of her life at The Gowerton Conservative Club.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be made to Breast Cancer Research Wales via funeral-notices.co.uk or cheques may be presented to Lee Davies of

Shocked to see this lovely face of Irene who has sadly passed away. Twice i met her and she was really lovely. She went to school with my mum and we were introduced in the reunion they had. I remember Irene just so beautiful and full of fun! Pleasure meeting u Irene. Much love to the family at this sad time.
