OgwenREESIt is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Minnie Ogwen Rees announces her passing on April 29th 2024, just nine days after celebrating her 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends.
Ogwen passed away peacefully at her home in Pwll and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Ann, her Son In Law Vincent and her two grandchildren Anthony and Aimée as well as her extended family and friends.
Ogwen proudly served as a WAAF during the Second World War and took up the position of Head Cook in Pwll school for many years and is still fondly remembered by many students who passed through the gates.
It was Ogwen's express wishes to have a private cremation but please make any charitable donations to Shelter Cymru.
