Jean MargaretREED(née Hill) Died peacefully aged 92, on 12th February 2026, with family, playing one of her favourite games and in her home in Newport, Barnstaple where she first moved in 1947.
A much-loved wife to the late Dougie, mum to Christopher, Philip, David, Katharine and Kitty, not forgetting the beloved in-laws, Moyra, Helen, George, Helen and Colin and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sorely missed by family and many friends.
A service of celebration of her life will be at St John's, Newport Parish Church, on Friday 13th March at 2.30pm followed by a gathering and refreshments at The Park Hotel afterwards, next door to where she was born.
All are welcome to either (or both) to remember her and share stories; come and wear something bright, as she would have enjoyed that.
