HaroldREADThe family would like to sincerely thank family and friends who attended the funeral service and celebration of Harold's life. We are sorry we did not get to see you all, also for the many cards and kind wishes. Special thanks to the staff at the dialysis unit in Cinderford, the ambulance crew and Doctor/nurses at Gloucester Royal Hospital, especially nurse Jo Jardine of the critical care staff who was with him at the end. John Hall Funeral Directors for their kind, care and attention, Lee Axford who conducted the service with skill and sensitivity, friend and neighbour Dave East for his brilliant tribute, Amy at Lavenders Blue Florists for the stunning floral tribute and all the team at The Chase Hotel, Ross-on-Wye for their kind attention and excellent reception, The Royal British Legion (Longhope Branch) for the guard of honour, the pall bearers, nephews Ivor, Barnes, Mike Brookes, Eric Read, Richard Read, David Read and Nigel Read. Many thanks for all the kind donations received for The Royal British Legion in Lieu of flowers. Sincere apologies for all those standing outside the crematorium who did not get to hear the service as the speakers were not working (unbeknown to us until after the service).
