Jose FlorenceRANSOMEPeacefully in hospital on 20th May, Jose Ransome, aged 92 passed away in the presence of her family.

A celebration of the life of Jose will be held at St. Cuthberts Church, Church Lane, Ormesby, Middlesbrough, TS7 9AU on Friday 12th June at 1:00pm prior to the burial in St. Cuthberts churchyard. Friends please meet at the church.

Family flowers only, please.

Following the service an additional celebration of the life and achievements of Jose will be held at Ormesby Table Tennis Club, Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, TS3 8PB.

It has been suggested by Jose's family members in Canada that we set up a programme in Jose's name to support the women and girls programme in England. This would be managed in connection with Table Tennis England. The Ormesby Club, who are a charity, have established a Crowdfunding programme to assist with the clubs facility development and this fund can accept donations and earmark them for this programme.
