It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Sneddon Rae, who died peacefully but unexpectedly at home on Monday, 8th September at the age of 73. A loving husband to Susanne, and devoted father to Richard, Emma and Darryl; father-in-law to Abbie, Stephen and Katie; and much-loved grandpa to Freddie, Owen, Ella, Lexi, Calz, Stirling, Steph and Jen. Charles will be deeply missed by his family, his many friends, and all who knew him.
The service will take place at Dunblane Cathedral on Tuesday, 30th September at 11:00am, followed by burial in Dunblane Cemetery, and afterwards gathering at the Westlands Hotel, Dunblane to celebrate his life.
Donations in his memory may be made to The Heart of Scotland Appeal (Heart Research UK) and Dementia UK.
