NormanQUICKIn loving memory of Norman Quick

Norman, of Hoskings Row, Redruth, passed away peacefully at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, on the 11th April 2026, aged 67.

Norman was a man of quiet integrity and athletic spirit who found his true home in Cornwall after growing up in the South East and having a dedicated career in public service and security. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his lifelong love of the outdoors (especially the rugged North Cornish Coast), and the gentle, supportive nature he extended to everyone he met.

He will be greatly missed by his loving daughters, Dominique and Becki, his brother and lifelong best friend, Graham, his beloved cat, Shadow, and the many wonderful people he touched and was touched by throughout his life.

Norman will be interred at Trewirgie Cemetery at 10am on Saturday 9th May 2026, followed by a service to celebrate his life at Redruth Baptist Church at 11am. Norman was a man who held a deep faith, and as such, there is comfort in knowing that he is now risen and with the Lord.

At the request of Norman's family, anyone attending the funeral should please dress comfortably (as Norman would have wished), and if possible, please wear a splash of Norman's favourite colour, dark racing green.

Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Norman will be to benefit Redruth Baptist Church. Donations may be received by retiring collection, or sent to the Funeral Directors at the address below.

All enquiries to the family's Funeral Director, David Maddern of Cornwall Funeral Services, Higher Fore Street, Redruth, TR15 2AR.

I was honoured to have known Norman as a friend and a close work colleague at "SWAN & EDGARS" London Piccadilly.
He was an incredible thoughtful fun person to be around.
He will ever be in my thoughts.
