DonaldPROCTER('Don') With heavy hearts, the family announce, Don aged 88 years of Newcastle passed away peacefully on Thursday 11th December 2025 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice with his family by his side. Much loved and devoted husband to Barbara, loving and doting dad to Clare and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral service to take place on Friday 16th January at Elim Pentecostal Church, Silverdale at 10.45am followed by cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Will relatives please accept this intimation, friends kindly meet at the church.

Family flowers only, donations if desired in memory of Don will be gratefully received to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Sending love and strength to all of his family. Don was my Dads boss down the pit many years ago and my Dad thought the world of him. As well as being his boss they also remained good friends. RIP Don x
