Thank you to all at DGRI who had contact with Colin, especially the Oncology Nurse Specialist and Palliative Care Nurse, for their support on this difficult journey. A huge thank you to the doctors, nurses, pharmacist and reception staff at Shebburn Surgery who facilitated our wish for Colin to be at home. We are forever grateful.
A special mention for Macmillan who supported, guided and eased our path. Thank you to the wonderful Marie Curie nurses who flew in through the night and made difficult times bearable for both of us.
Last, but not least, thank you to Tracy Morrison of Jardine Funeral Directors for her sensitivity, support and gentle guidance; to Mark Jardine for a touching and uplifting eulogy. Their total care and respect given to Colin will live with us.
