Mary was a very special lady. As a teenager she was my other mother and I spent so much time at her home with Jacky. Mary was always kind, sweet and loving. Even when she was clearly cross with both of us.
You will be very missed Mary x

Today 11th of the 1st at exactly 1pm - 111 👼🏻
We sat by her bedside and held her hand as she closed her eyes forever.

My world, My best friend, my teacher, my 2nd mum, my beautiful Grandma! 💔😭
I couldn’t possibly fit a lifetime of what she means to me into a few sentences. She has been my everything.♥️

She was the kindest, most selfless, most thoughtful person in the whole world! Like my grandad said ‘Her heart belongs to anyone who needs it!’🥹
A stranger on a bus, her neighbours, her family! She always had time for everyone & would do anything for them! ❤️‍🩹

She took me on adventures, to swimming, to the park, to Woodseats (we had to go in my favourite junk shop which she hated!)
to Tesco every week (we did lots of shopping & met lots of friends!)
She took me everywhere!
Wherever she was…I was! 💔
Most of my days were spent with her & her friends reading and playing scrabble.
She taught me to swim, to cook, to be independent, to ride the bus, to be kind and I will forever be grateful.
She painted with me and drew animals (even if her dog looked like a Donkey🫏 aha!) we played board games, she counted the cars with me out of the window while I waited and watched for mums car to pull into the drive. She made me laugh so much, if I had a bad day she always knew how to make me feel better.
She ended every single day with a message, ‘Are you safe? Are you home?’ 🥹

These past few years have been an honour to be able to give a little back to you what you gave to me. 😭💔
(Even if that involved cutting your toenails 😂 while you dramatically screamed & kicked your feet at me! 😂)
But I would do it 1000 times over to still have you here with me.

I will carry with me what you always said to me ‘Keep singing honey, Keep smiling, you are the one we adore!’

I will miss every inch of you. Life will not be the same without you.

Love you to the moon and back my beautiful Grandmax
