Valerie GwendolinePORTEOUSPeacefully on 8th November 2025 at The Kensington Care Home, Immingham, Val aged 92 years, formerly of Habrough.
Beloved wife of the late Ian, much loved mother of Therese, Lindy, Kathryn and Stuart and mother-in-law of Fred, Dean, Tony, Helen and the late Ian, gags of Lauren, Lois, Richard, Sean, Nicholas, Leanne, Eve and families.
A service to celebrate Val's life will be held in Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 1st December 2025 at 12.45pm.
Donations in Val's memory to benefit 'Canine Partners' may be given at the service or sent to the Funeral Director.

Valerie was a good friend and bridesmaid to my mother Joy Manger (Whitby) She was very beautiful I remember from her photographs. My mother lived in Chalkwell Avenue in Westcliff on Sea so I imagine Valerie lived in Westcliff too. I think they went to Crowstone Church together. I remember Ian being spoken of and their time in Bahrain. I know they lived in Grimsby and I always think of her when I hear of Grimsby fish. My dear mother Joy passed away in 2013 and
I believe I wrote to Valerie to tell her. My email address is [email protected] if any of you would like to acknowledge this. Valerie looked very happy with her family Kathryn looks very much as I remember Valerie. My thoughts are with you all Alison (Whitby) x
