PaulinePILKINGTONIt is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Pilkington, aged 77 years who died peacefully surrounded by her beloved family. Pauline was married to her lifelong husband Alan for 55 years. They lived in Clayton-le-Moors for many years before moving to their new home in Accrington. Pauline was one of six siblings and was also a loving mother to Karen, Lee and Lisa. She also leaves son-in-law Chris and grandchildren Ashleigh, Bailey, Zachery and Georgia and great-grandson Ruben. Pauline was also a great friend to many. Pauline was a talented sewing machinist and was employed by various companies throughout her working life. Pauline’s main interest was looking after everyone else and spending time with her family. She enjoyed shopping, meals out, spending time in her lovely garden and watching soaps. Pauline also loved to travel abroad and had been to many places with family and friends. She particularly enjoyed her last holiday to Turkey which enabled many precious memories to be made. Pauline had a warm and friendly personality and was loved and will be missed by many. Her funeral will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, August 11 at 2.20pm and afterwards at The Crown Inn.
