Henry AntonyPICKERINGHenry Antony Pickering (Tony), aged 84, of Saughall, Chester, passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2025. Born on November 21st, 1940, in Chester, he was the beloved husband of Rosemary Pickering, a cherished father to Julie, Kevin, Lisa, and Gary, and a much-loved stepfather to James, Juliet and Robert. He was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, treasured by all his family.
A successful local farm manager, Tony was known for his strong work ethic and warm heart. He was a keen fly fisherman, a talented amateur chef, and an avid worldwide traveller with a deep love of nature.
Tony passed away at the Countess of Chester Hospital, surrounded by family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service to be held on Monday, 19th May at 10:30am at Blacon Crematorium, followed by a gathering at Mollington Banastre.
