Beatrice LeliethPHILLIPSEvangelist Beatrice Lelieth Phillips, affectionately known as Evangelist Phillips and lovingly as Bea, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, aged 95 years.
Bea was the devoted wife of the late Ashmead Phillips and a much-loved mother to Charmaine, Oral, Genevieve, Lola, and Carol. She was a cherished grandmother to Nicole, the late Christian, Ayesha, Eleisha, Tonisha and Mya, and a treasured great-grandmother to Kieran, Remai, Kara, Loxlee and Thalia.
Bea will be fondly remembered for her unwavering faith, kindness and dedication to her family and church community.
A funeral service to celebrate Bea's life will be held at the Assemblies of the First-Born Church, 117 London Road, Derby, DE1 2QS, on Friday 23 January 2026 at 10.30am, followed by burial at Nottingham Road Cemetery, DE21 6FN, at 1.30pm. Live stream details are being arranged and will be confirmed.
Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to the Assemblies of the First-Born Church online or via the donation box provided on the day.
