John AlfredPETTIGREWPETTIGREW - JOHN ALFRED, May 7, 2020. Born in 1942, Liverpool, he lived a full life from an early age. He joined the RAF in 1958 at the age of 16 and travelled to many countries before he left service in 1976 at RAF Valley. He settled on the island and worked at Wellmans, Wells, JP Woods and finally retired back at RAF Valley at Brama. Music was his passion. He played the accordion with Traedmoch and later sang at various venues. He continued with his music right up until he passed. He leaves behind Stephen and Carol from his first marriage and Anthony from his marriage to Elizabeth who was a great support to him during his illness. He also leaves a Grandson, Scott and a Great Grandson.
