Sincere thanks to the kind relatives, neighbours and friends who were a great help and comfort. Thanks also to Sue and the District Nurses at Glynneath who nursed John at home through his illness, to the Marie Curie Nurses who were always willing and helpful, to the staff at Cec Jones' Pharmacy for their help, to the staff at the Vale of Neath Medical Practice and to Lynne and her staff at Y Rhosyn, Neath Port Talbot Hospital. Many thanks also to Rev Peter Lewis for officiating and for his valuable support and grateful thanks to Alun Lewis Funeral Director and his team who worked with the family with great care and dignity. Special thanks to all those who attended the funeral service, your presence was greatly appreciated.
