Fond memories of an amazing, kind, loud, hilarious & generous friend.
My abiding memory of Elaine is one of how proud she was of all of her daughters & grandchildren...the way she talked about any of them left you in no doubt as to how much she truly loved them all.
I first met Elaine as a work colleague within the Intensive Care Unit at Carmarthen. It was obvious that she was an extremely popular & hardworking member of the team, as well as always being at the centre of any banter!! More than anything, I was struck by her manner with both patients & their families. She just had a natural, warm way with people, empathy & kindness by the bucketload!! It was such a shame that ill health forced Elaine to leave the profession...she was an absolute natural at the job & a credit to the profession.
Rest easy Elaine/Carrier Bag (silly private joke between the two of us!!)..an absolute superstar, a wonderful human being & a good friend.
Take care & big hugs, Neil/Pagey/Shrek xxx
