Dave will be missed by many a working man with a great sense of humour. We only saw him once a year after we left Cornwall but when we visited the welcome was always so warm.We had the occasional phone call and he would send silly jokes which kept us laughing..The world is a poorer place now with a Dave sized hole in it.I'll miss you man.

A lovely man, so full of compassion, with a social conscience and sensitivity to inequality.

A one in a million dad …always there for me no matter what , the best sense of humour and so much compassion for everyone and so much love for my mum …the world is a sadder and quieter place without him …hope he’s laughing out loud somewhere ..I’ll keep moving forward dad just as you said …Helen xxxxxx
