RobertPARKINSONIt is with a broken heart I announce that my husband Bob passed away on 12th March 2026.
He passed away at Derriford Hospital. He had not been in the best of health for a couple of years.
Bob born in Blackpool, attended Blackpool grammar school, where he enjoyed sport and maths.
He was a very talented table tennis player, he played for Blackpool; Lancashire & Berkshire
He started his career as a Quantity Surveyor in Blackpool, before moving to Maidenhead with Costain's.
He worked in London for many years on large and prestigious projects, including many banks HSBC & Bank of Japan.
We moved to Cornwall in 1990 and Bob worked in Devon Cornwall & Wales.
He spent his last few years with Morgan Sindall in Plymouth before he retired, and was well know in the Plymouth Construction circles.
He very much enjoyed traveling and in particular cruising, and went on many a varied cruise around the world.
He enjoyed Portwrinkle making the of the views, and taking our Westie for walks.
He leaves behind brothers Brian Roy(deceased) Alan and sister Janet. Clare and Steven Davenport in laws but more brother and sister.
Wife and lifelong partner Bernadette and Mack the Westie.
Much loved and greatly missed by us all.
