I was so shocked to hear yesterday when I bumped into Cheryl, that Mark had passed. It was the first time, I hadn’t seen them together. He was such a lovely man. I worked with him for many years at Royal Mail. Heard lots of stories about Cheryl and the boys. Cheryl’s sausage rolls and how he loved her cooking.
Over the last few years, I have spent a lot of time at Gloucester Royal. Either with my Dad, other family members or myself.
Most of the time I would bump into Mark, he would show me where I needed to be and we would put the world to rights. On one occasion I was upset and he stayed with me until I went in. He was a true gent, family man, great work colleague and deeply respected by all.
RIP Mark, until we meet again. Cordell xx
