Alan sadly passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Saturday 3rd January 2026 aged 85 years.

Beloved husband to Christine (Chris) for 62 years.

Dearly loved dad of David, his wife Wendy and Ian and his fiancée Sharon, also a dear grandad to Paul, Mark, Joe, Ben and Sarah, great grandad to Jayden, Brooke, Jackson, Harry and Alfie.

A loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle friend and neighbour. He will be sadly missed by all.

A funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium Main Chapel on Tuesday 17th February at 2.30pm.

No flowers by request but donations to benefit Dementia UK in loving memory of Alan may be given online by visiting funeral-notices.co.uk or can be placed in the donation box at the service.
