You were a dear uncle, and a great figure to look up to. You will be deeply missed by all.
I will miss our little interactions, like seeing you cycle (more like, gliding with your electric bike) to the pub. Or our conversations whenever I would pop my head into the side door and shout hello, to see if anyone was there...
Even though you only met Emily a few times, you made her feel like family; with conversations always leading to smiles and giggles. You may not have known it, but you left a lovely mark on her, bigger than you probably realised - purely by being you.
