Mum, you were loved in your own way—strong, independent, and not always one for big displays of emotion. But love isn’t just in words; it’s in presence, in the things left unsaid, and in the ways you showed up when it mattered.

Life wasn’t always kind to you, and you carried more than your share of struggles. But now, that pain is gone, and I take comfort in knowing you are finally at peace.

You may not have been one for sentimentality, but you were still deeply valued, and you will be remembered with love. Rest now, Mum—you are free. XX
