My deepest condolences to you all on the loss of a wonderful man.
Gerry was such a compassionate, genuine gentleman. He was a good friend to our parents, Mary & Noel, over many decades. Rest in Peace.

We will deeply miss Deacon Gerry. His visits were a highlight for our residents. He brought more than just communion, he brought gentle warmth, a listening ear and a radiant smile that lifted everyone's spirits. Dear Eileen, Jean, John, Gerard, Kevin and all the family,

I was very sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing, and I offer you my deepest sympathy at this sad time.

I remember Gerry as a gentle, upright and compassionate man, totally dedicated to his family and to the Church. He also had a genuine interest in other people, and there was a kindness and attentiveness about him that left a lasting impression. I came to know him through my aunt and his sister, Lily, during his frequent visits to Cavan, and I always held him in great respect.

May the many memories you shared with him bring you comfort in the days ahead, and may Gerry rest in eternal peace.
