Passed away peacefully at the Royal Stoke University Hospital
on Monday 27th July 2026, following a long illness bravely fought.

Loving Dad of the late Shaun and Stephen,
much loved Brother of Peter and Brother in Law of Sue,
A dear Uncle of Kerry and Clare and a cherished Great Uncle and Great, Great, Uncle.

Funeral service to be held at
Our Lady & St Benedict's RC Church Abbey Hulton
on Wednesday 19th August 2026 at 1:15pm.
Followed by a service of committal & Cremation at Carmountside Crematorium.
Please feel free to wear bright colours if you wish.
Traditional black is not required.

Family flowers only please by request.
Donations if desired can be given in memory of Martin to The Dogs Trust.
A charity that Martin donated to for many years.

For the kindness, generosity and cathartism Martin stood for, I hope in his memory, these attributes he so often demonstrated are never lost in minds of those who knew him.
Martin will be missed more than he would ever realise and far more than he would think possible.
Martin's enthusiasm and joy, his benvolence and good will, will for me, always be his legacy.
A life lost, a genuinely good soul taken unexpectedly, and now dearly missed and forever remembered.
