JohnNUGENTJohn passed away peacefully on 23rd June 2026 at his home in Spondon, with his loving wife, Rose, by his side.
John showed incredible determination and resilience from the day he was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumors in February 2026. He fought courageously until the very end.
He was well known throughout Derby for his kindness, generosity, and for always giving people a chance in life. He will be deeply missed by the community of Spondon, where he became a respected and much-loved figure.
John will be forever loved and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Rose; his children, Sean, Angelina and Kelly; his six grandchildren; and his much-loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.
John's funeral will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Friday 17th July at 12:30pm, followed by a celebration of his life at The White Swan, Spondon.
Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate John's life and say our final goodbye.
