The obituary notice of Benjamin NOLAN

Very saddened to just hear about the passing of Mr Nolan last year. He tuned our piano for 15 years and was a master of his craft, we particularly looked forward to listening to him play varied pieces after the tune, such an incredible pianist too. He was so friendly and personable, liked to catch up with our son’s University progress and loved to update us on how his daughters were doing, which he did with such love and pride. Our sincere condolences to all his family, from the Williams Family.

I have only just heard about Ben's passing.
I knew Ben for around 5 years and he helped me with all things piano.
I loved talking piano with him and hearing his amazing stories.
He was a truly amazing and gentle individual who i really looked forward to seeing.
His tuning card will forever remain on my piano

I was sad to hear about Ben. He wrote to me on 24th January declining my request for a piano tune, telling me about his recent diagnosis and sounding somewhat relieved a plan of action was in place. I liked him. I saw him infrequently of course, 3 or 4 times a year, but he was always friendly and up-beat despite obviously going through some dark periods. I shall miss him. My condolences to his family.
