FloraNICOLSONIt is with great sadness that Alison announces the death of her adored Mum Flora on the 18th November 2025, Mum's passing was very peaceful and was met with great courage and dignity.
My Mum was the best Mum I could ever have wished for and now she is reunited with the best man ever, my Dad Walter.
Mum was a special Mother in Law to Neil, a Sister to the late Margaret, a much loved Auntie, Cousin, Sister in Law and a dear Friend to many.
Sincere thanks for the extensive care and support received from Claire and the girls from the Viewfield District Nursing Team, the dedicated care from the staff at Annfield House, the care received from all at FVRH, this support enabled Mum to remain living at home where she was happiest.
Thanks to the staff in the Wallace Suite for keeping Mum comfortable the last few weeks.
The expressions of sympathy received have been overwhelming, the cards, letters and flowers received are greatly appreciated, such kindness will never be forgotten.
Sincere thanks to Rev Gary McIntyre for his support and prayers to both Mum and I.
A special mention has to go to Vickie, Gary and Michael for their timeless visits to Mum.
Thanks to Gary and the staff from David Henderson-Lloyd for their professional and compassionate arrangements.
Advanced thanks to Penny from Lonicera Florists, I know the floral tributes will be stunning.
Mum's funeral will be private, this is at Mum's request.
