Joan Marie VeronicaNEWMANPeacefully at home, aged 84 years. Devoted wife to the late Jimmy, loving mum to Ian, Leigh, Paul and Janet, mother-in-law to Louise, Barbara and Kevin, a caring gran to Robert, Sean, Jack, Lily and Georgia, Joan will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Mass at St. Monica's RC Church, Bootle on Monday 20th April 2026 at 11.30am. Cremation following at Thornton Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research. All enquiries to David Clegg Independent Funeral Service, 77-79 Bridge Road, Litherland, L21 2PA. Tel 0151 928 6665.

Hi Nan. Thank you for all your love and kindness, and for always taking such good care of me whenever I came to visit. I will miss your birthday and Christmas cards every year more than words can say. As hard as it was, I am so deeply grateful that I had the chance to come and say goodbye to you before you passed. I will cherish our last phone call and the way you made me laugh. You will be forever missed and always in my heart. ♥️
