DenisNELSONIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Nelson on 29 December 2025, aged 80.
Denis was a loving friend to many and will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and passion for life.
Denis had a distinguished and lifelong association with the Army, serving as a soldier, TA instructor, and cadet leader. His commitment to supporting and guiding others through these roles left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Beyond his military involvement, Denis worked at BRUSH Manufacturing and later shared his expertise as an electronics lecturer, inspiring students with his knowledge and enthusiasm. He was deeply passionate about his career and took pride in everything he accomplished.
Denis also had a great love for animals, especially dogs, and cherished the companionship of his own pets throughout his life.
In memory of Denis, donations are welcomed for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance, a cause close to his heart.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
