The obituary notice of Sandra June (Nanny Sandy) NELMS

One of my favourite memories of Nanny Sandy was doing over her house with mum for a cuppa tea. She was always in kitchen cooking and banging on the wall shouting "Tony your food is ready!"and then a moment later banging again "Tony turn volume down!"because he had the telly on full blast, as if was sitting front row at a live concert. Those little moments were so full of laughter and they made her house feel so warm and special. I will always miss those days and will treasure those memories forever 💓.

To my wonderful beautiful mum caring lovely mum.Words can never say how much you meant to me,both you & dad were my rocks.I remember as a little girl we catch the bus into the city to the material shop we would go down the steps to look at material. This was to make beautiful matching dresses for mum & myself these were for special occasions such as St.davids day and special events.My mum would knit make jumpers ,cardigans & also made me a beautiful rag doll along with smiley pyjamas cases for me & my brother Robbie.We always went on holiday to Gower camping dad would drive home to work & return to continue the weekends with us.My visits to THE HOME were very special and I enjoyed taking mum down stairs to watch events we loved a cuppa tea and special treats like mince pies at Christmas time. We had a little joke and laugh and enjoyed taking her outside for a walk in the sunshine with a nice cup of tea on the patio.I will miss our special times together when I always said to her I LOVE YOU MUM your my princess.Cant thank you enough for always being their for me your so so special my heart is breaking Till we meet again MUM LOVE you so much God bless daughter Debbie xxxx

TO MUM WITH LOVE

Knowledgeable and fun,
Mum was there for everyone.
Of course though, our beloved Dad
Was always her number one.

Mum was a strong force in the family and when life wasn't quite right,
She was there to care with her guiding light.

To Dad, Mum was a devoted Wife,
She loved him with affection for most of her life.
Together they parented their family tree,
At the top a son called Rob and a daughter Debbie.

A devoted Grandmother, Mum was happy as can be,
Having fun times by the sea.
Joyful memories in their caravan,
To share special times with her family was her plan.

Treasured memories of popping over for a chat and tea,
To exercising in aquafit with friends and me.
I was blessed with a mother who was simply the best.
Mum, you will always be in our hearts as you join Dad at rest.
