My Grandad, it’s hard to believe that its already been a year since you left us. However, it feels like just yesterday that we were sitting together, chatting about life and it’s many complexities. Your absence has left a void in my life, and I miss everything you - your warm smile, your wise words and your kind heart. You were more than just a Grandad to me; you were a mentor, a friend and source of inspiration. I treasure all the memories we shared together, forever etched in my mind, and I am grateful for the 84 years of life experience that you passed down to me. The life I am living with your lessons you taught me, will continue to guide me through life, and I often wonder how things would be if you were still here. You will always be remembered for the incredible mark you left on my life, and I am proud to have had you as my Grandad and will forever cherish the memories we created together. Rest, Grandad.
