GeorgeMUSSELLSadly, on Saturday 22nd February 2025, whilst in the care of A& E staff at DPOW Hospital, George (ex-Grimsby Fisherman) passed away aged 77 years.

He is re-united with his beloved wife "Mo". He leaves behind his sons Steven & Paul and their partners Mandy & Anna. He was a much-loved Grandad to Lucas & Caleb. A dear brother of Alec, Lyndsey, 'Mel' & Mandy. Very dearly loved and respected by all his family and friends and will be very sadly missed.

George was well known in the fishing community & celebration of his life will be held at St Andrew's Methodist Church, St Peter's Ave on Friday 21st March at 1:00pm followed by a private committal.

George is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP to where floral tributes may be sent.

So sad to hear the passing of George from the Hitching rail days middle 70s to 80s my father Roy Rutherford ended up with a lot of your good shirts from the scraps u got in to good M&S ones he was happy to swop being a 17 half collar u both were so u didn’t get into trouble at home good old memories never forgotten RIP and always one for the Road 🥰
