Funny, generous and kind. We spent many days in Bournemouth together. Walking, eating, drinking and chatting about life. You will be missed and remembered by many.

Elaine was so courageous - a true inspiration to us all. I’ll remember our trips to Finland, writing our book together and our ‘synchronised’ tennis viewing (Elaine in Scotland and me in Brighton). Had lots of laughs along the way. A lovely friend who will never be forgotten xx

Elaine was one of the most amazing people I ever met. A true friend.
She was always ready to help others, no matter what her personal suffering was.
She was brave beyond words, determined, stoical, caring and compassionate.
She was truly one in million.
You will never be forgotten
