WilliamMURRAYThe Murray family are sad to announce the passing of Bill Murray. Bill was born in Liverpool in 1932 and lived on Clairemont Road, Wavertree, before moving with his family to Rainhill. After many happy family years, Bill passed away peacefully at home aged 92 on 24th August 2025.
Bill leaves his wife Zita and children Jane and Andrew. As well as being a wonderful husband & father he also loved being a grandfather to his four grandsons William, Ruari, Sam and Jack.
A Requiem Mass will be held at St Bartholomew's Church, Rainhill at 10.30 am on Wednesday 10th September followed by a short service at St Helen's crematorium at 12.00 pm.
At the request of the family, no flowers please, donations if desired to CAFOD will be gratefully received. A donation box will be provided on the day.
