RoyMURPHYPassed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Monday 1st December 2025, aged 87 years.

Beloved husband of the late Tilli Murphy, much loved dad to Colin. Brother to Shirley, and uncle to Karen, Helen and Linda. Roy will be sadly missed by all his friends and family.

A big thank you for all the NHS staff involved in his care, particularly those of Ward 405 at the Royal Derby Hospital.

A celebration of his life will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Tuesday 30th December 2025 at 1.30pm.

All welcome, family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Sight Support Derbyshire (Derbyshire Association of the Blind) These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.
