Anne, although I only worked with you for four years I am so glad I got to know you. I will treasure our meals out and your many stories. It was plain to see how you loved your family and friends and loved to travel. Rest in eternal peace Xx

My Anne, no matter how much time passes, I will always miss you my friend.

No more tomorrows can we share but yesterdays are always there.

You left me with such cherished nostalgic memories - ladies that lunch, the warmth of that smile, legendary muffins, an extraordinary work ethic, the wisdom of your words, the value of our friendship, the laughter and tears that we shared….

The love you had for Bob and family was profound.
I was in awe of the fact that your daughters Sarah and Laura remained the masterpiece of your life.

Forever imprinted on my soul……

My time working with Anne was short, but I wouldn't have swapped a second of it. From the moment I started at the Register Office in ceremonies, she always welcomed me, eternally offering advice, walking me through ceremonies and making sure I was always at ease. She also constantly reassured me and everyone else when things were getting tough. Moving over to the registrars, her door was always open and she never once failed to make time for me and the rest of the team. I was fortunate to get to know her more and consider myself unbelievably fortunate to call her a friend. I hope her family - and she - can take comfort that so many people loved and respected her. I know we will all miss her beyond words. Love and thoughts to you all. X

I had the pleasure of working alongside Anne for many a year at Coventry Register Office through the hard times of Covid and the sad loss of Bob. Anne was always someone you could call upon in a crisis and she was always available with a smile a listening ear and a hug when needed. Anne was so proud of her family, she will be missed but fond memories of happy times will always be there to look back on. Rest easy Anne.

Anne was a remarkable woman, she cared for everybody and she had lots of love to give. She always had a smile on her lips, especially when she was with her beloved family. We will miss her greatly and we still can’t quite believe she won’t be there at our next family gathering. God bless you Anne and may you rest in everlasting peace, love Mike and Pam xxxx
