GeorgeMOTTRAMDevoted husband of Beryl, loving father of George, John, Katherine, Sarah, Jane and Liz, and dedicated grandfather to his 11 grandchildren. A lifelong Evertonian.

A funeral service will be held in the Lady Chapel of the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Friday 8th August at 1pm, followed by cremation at Anfield Crematorium. All who knew him are welcome to attend to celebrate his life. Family flowers only.

With heavy hearts we say goodbye to a man who embodied love, warmth and kindness in everything he did. Our hearts are empty but we are blessed to have loved you. He was such a special man.

In loving memory of Grandad Georgie. Georgie's kitchen is closed for now. He was always ready with a lift, a laugh, and a hot meal. There was always a seat at his table and a place in his heart for all of us. Thank you, Georgie, for your warmth, your kindness, and your love. We will miss you dearly and remember you always. With all our love, his grandchildren.

I loved the way George loved my cousin Beryl. George was the best of husbands and a marvellous father. I always remember George polishing six little pair of shoes every night. You will be greatly missed George. Goodnight and God Bless George. Annx

So sad to hear about George, I have many fond memories of when I worked with him at the Ford factory in Halewood,I started there in 1967 and George was one of the repair operators,I always remember when Everton had midweek home games and we would be on night shift he would give me a ride to work in the sidecar of his motorcycle, I later worked with George on the traffic towards the end of our working lives and we both retired around the same time,Condolences to George’s family,he was a wonderful man
