DaphneMOOREPassed away peacefully at her daughter's home, St Louis, Missouri USA, after a short illness aged 78. Mammy words are so inadequate our feelings to convey, When the heart is full we often find it hard to say, How much we appreciate what you as a mother do, But we hope these words express our gratitude to you. For your friendship, for your love and for your complete trust, You may never, never know how much you've done for us, When we needed someone you were there to help us through, So these simple words of thanks we'd like to send to you. Brief they are but truly meant, And with warm affection they are sent. Your smiling face this side of Heaven is not to be, But when Jesus comes again your eyes we'll see. We thank God for you, your life and your love, And look forward to being with you again up above. Because of you we are truly blessed, You've worked so hard so now take your rest. If we are faithful we are assured of a place, And there we will meet you face to face. So goodnight mammy, sleep tight God bless, We will see you in the morning full of zest. No more greying hair, or eyes that are dim, No more creaking joints, or aching limbs. There will be a new Heaven and a new earth, Where you will run, jump and skip all you are worth, So thank you and goodnight for we must part, Maybe out of sight but always in our hearts. We all loved you and we will miss you but we believe that we will see you again. Thanks mum. See you soon xx.
