Hi Mom, it’s Niamh. It’ll be 8 years since you walked this earth with me on the 27th. It feels like yesterday since I heard your laugh. I’m more and more like you every passing day. I hope you’re proud of who I’m becoming despite my difficulties that I know you share with me. Our minds are much more alike as I grow older, the good and the bad. I wish I could have a hug from you again, or have your Sunday roasts. Maybe when we meet again we can dance to our favourites from Dreamboats and Petticoats Diamond edition. Hey, unfortunately I've come into your daughter Caitlin's life at a time when you aren't around. From what Caitlin says about you, it really sounds like we would have gotten along well and my family would have loved you especially my mom.
I just wanted to thank you for bringing such a wonderful human into this world, I'm due to marry her next year and she has given me a perfect family and brought me all the happiness I didn't think existed.
She's on top of life at the moment and I think she would make any mother proud so I know you would be.
I'll take good care of her. Rest easy Davina x
