So sorry Liz and your boys and family to hear that you have lost David. I was saddened to hear this news, he will be greatly missed. Our happy hunting Dartmoor days and trip to France! those days still firmly in my memory! as well as his constant support. May he RIP he will be greatly missed In Devon. He would have so loved the sailing out here where I have settled in Sidney, Vancouver Island.... Bon voyage David.

Having lost touch I was searching for “ mills “ on the net last week when sadly what I found was his obituary notice.
We were a gang of trainees at Torbay hospital together— and David was the fittest and healthiest of all of us— countryman ; beagler; fine horseman : guardian of birds of prey and sporting dogs :and ahead of his time as an intermittent faster ; a family to envy whose hospitality was boundless.
RIP David ( aka Millsy)
Your community and patients will be the poorer for your passing
Fondest regards and sincere condolences to you Liz and the boys at your great personal loss
