PeterMILLINGTON-PARKESPassed away December 31st 2025 aged 84 years. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

The funeral service is to take place at St Mary the Virgin, Bathwick, Bath on Tuesday 10th February at 11.00am followed by burial at Haycombe Cemetery.

Donations for the Bath Cats and Dogs Home may be sent direct to the charity or left in the retiring collection following the service.

I first met Peter more than 30 years ago and he was always very dapper in his hat and suit. He seemed to come from a bygone age.

I mostly remember his kindness and generosity.

As we met over the years, he shared with me his joy in playing the organ and his love of Oxford - I have dozens of postcards that bear witness to this.

Peter was an extraordinary man and I am proud to have known him.
