I didn't know you for long Gordie but for the short time that I did, you had a huge impact and left a lasting impression on me. You wouldn't think that knowing someone for such a short period time could possibly leave you feeling and mourning the huge loss of a friend, but that's exactly what I feel, a massive loss and a friend who is no longer here, a friend that even though I didn't, felt like I'd known for years. That speaks volumes of the man and human that you were. You were a gentleman, you were kind, caring, empathetic, sincere and honest, and you were good craic. Thanks for the chats, memories and laughter, and sometimes tears, but we always kept it real and that's what I loved. I am going to miss our weekly chats about life, our health, family, and most importantly to you and I both, our better halves, the amazing wives that we are blessed with, who we love, appreciate and value more than anything, and the stories, laughter and tears that we shared. I miss you mate. Lots of love to you, Babs, David, James and your grandkids. My thoughts are with you all. Your buddy Dean in Northern Ireland 🤍
