It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved dad, Peter Metcalfe,
who died peacefully on Saturday 27th September 2025 surrounded by his loving family, aged 84 years.
Peter was a retired Chief Superintendent of Cleveland Police,
where he dedicated 32 years of his life to policing with commitment and integrity.
A devoted Husband to Joan, unreservedly loving Dad to Roger, Lesley & Richard,
treasured Grandad, Great-Grandad & beloved Brother.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Peter's life will take place on Friday 24th October at 1.00pm at Kirkleatham Memorial Park.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Peter to Maxi's Mates Rescue & Rehoming Centre.
All who knew Peter are warmly welcome to attend.
