So sorry to hear of the sudden loss of Mel❤️

I recruited and trained him as a meter reader and was later his supervisor.
Mel as 1 of the nicest, kindest hearted people I've ever met,he always had a smile on his face whenever I visited him and in-between trading some fierce "banter" was more than happy to demonstrate his latest gadget😀

Mel you were 1 in a million, not only my colleague but also a friend.
I'm so glad I was able to attend such a lovely service in your memory today, your granddaughters poem and the pipers brought tears to my eyes.

R.I.P old friend and love to your family

Hi grandad,
I just wanted to say I won't forget the times when I came over for tea every week to see you and nanny. When I came to the pub most Sundays with u, dad and Adam. You use to always call me Charli onion and I used to laugh every time and get shy. The littlest memories I will never forget.
Love you always❤️
Charli

Mel….. where to start….
Thank you! Thank you for welcoming me into the family and for the thumbs up when we first met. Thank you for sharing some amazing memories here within Australia with us and my family whom are all thinking of you during this time. Thank you for the sacrifices you have made, not only for your country but for your family. Visits to the UK will never be the be the same.
Your cheeky but warm smile, phone in one hand and always looking up something (I know where Neil gets it from).
Thank you for always looking out for us, in particular Neil as you always made sure he made it home safe even from the other side of the world. You truely cared!!!
We will miss you deeply and as time heals our broken hearts, your/our memories together will never be forgotten.
Lots of forever love
Donna, Miah and Sofie xxxx
